Aubrey FUMC was Pastor Lyle's first appointment after completing the licensing process in the Methodist Church. He served as Pastor from June, 2005 to June, 2007. While Pastor, he attended Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University, where he obtained a Master of Divinity.
